Customizing views

Telephony Activity is structured around views, which are customizable filters that you create in order to aggregate statistics from specific modules. A view can contain anything from a single module to all your modules from all your projects (regardless of what telephony server they are using).

The first time you use Telephony Activity, you will have only one default view that contains all the active and paused modules from all your Pronto projects. This default view, which is called View 1, can be modified like any regular view.

Once you begin creating views, they will appear in the sidebar and are numbered in the order that they are created. The currently selected view will remain in effect when you switch between pages.

Creating views

  1. Click (Add) in the sidebar.
  2. Enter a name for the view (the name field will only appear if you have expanded the sidebar).
  3. In the tree view, which displays all active projects and modules, select the items to add to your view. You can add individual modules, all the modules in a project, or all the modules in all projects. When an item has been added, its icon will turn red (or half red and half white, if only some of the modules in a project or folder have been added).
    4. If you add a folder to your view, any projects or modules that are added to that folder in the future will automatically be included in your view. For example, adding the parent Projects folder will include all existing and future modules from all existing and future projects and folders it contains. To prevent this, select individual projects and modules instead.
  4. Click (Close) in the sidebar.

Editing views

  1. Click on a view in the sidebar.
  2. Click (Edit).
  3. Make any desired changes, such as:
    • Renaming the view
    • Adding modules to the view (by clicking beside folders, projects, or modules)
    • Deleting modules from the view (by clicking beside folders, projects, or modules, on a module in card display, or in a row in grid display)
    • Dragging and dropping module cards into a different order
  4. Click (Close) in the sidebar.

Deleting views

You must have at least one view at all times. If you only have a single view, you will need to create a second view before you can delete the first one.

To delete a view:

  1. Click (Edit) in the sidebar.
  2. Click beside the view you want to delete (the icon will only appear if you have expanded the sidebar).
  3. Click (Close) in the sidebar.
